Jeremy Lu is a California-born and NYC-based director, writer, and cinematographer. Raised in the crossroads between Filipino, Chinese, and Japanese cultures, Jeremy is drawn towards intimate stories that challenge visual norms and explore themes of culture and identity. His professional directorial debut short film MONKEY DRUM is entering the festival circuit in 2026.

Jeremy received a BFA in Film Production from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. His experience on set from features, shorts, commercials, and music videos have taken him across the US and abroad.
